Ellliott is 9 months old!

Elliott is 9 months old! He is really moving now. Not quite crawling - at least not more than a few feet at a time. He can get from sitting, onto his hands and knees, back to sitting. He loves to stand, and will stand for 10 minutes or so by his activity table. Maybe part of the reason for this is that he doesn't know how to get down gracefully yet. He can stand up in his crib, and usually rolls over to sleep on his tummy now. We just lowered the crib yesterday.

Elliott loves to eat! He waits with an open mouth for each bite of baby food, and enjoys finger foods with the pincer grasp he is working on perfecting.

Elliott was diagnosed with his first ear infection on Mother's Day. He had a fever of 102.1 (under arm) the night before. He was back to his happy self within a couple days, and is currently finishing up his antibiotics.

Stats:
Height - 29.75 inches, 95%
Weight - 21 lb, 10 oz (82%)
Head circumference - 45.4 cm (63%)
3 Teeth! (All lower)

Elliott is 8 months old!

Elliott gave us his serious side for 8 months. It's unusual, usually either he is laughing or crying.

Elliott is five months old! His 4-month doctor visit was on Thursday, 1/2. We are proud to say we have a happy, healthy, smiley, blue-eyed baby boy! He was 17 pounds, 9 ounces (81%) and 26 inches long (72%). His head circumference is 79%.

In comparison, at the same age Sam was 17 pounds and 26.25 inches.

Santa 2013

Sam was very excited to go see Santa Claus. However, when we got there he refused to sit on his lap and wanted to run away. Elliott did well.
